Ooh my gosh...that photo is awesome! One only has to watch an animal sleep, to know that they do dream.
I was just out in the rain earlier taking pictures of them. I'm surrounded by lilacs and it's a splendid year for them. Yes, animals dream, I'm certain, too. Thanks so much, TMoon.
Beautiful pic! Awesome - as someone else says.
Thank you, Cait. So glad you came over for a visit.
My, what beautiful lilacs! One of our trees has dark blossoms, but the color is not that deep.Interesting that you mentioned snowshoe rabbits: the last four times I've been out I've seen them. They have on their handsome new summer coats, but their feet are still white.
This particular lilac is really a tree rather than the traditional bush and has the deepest purple coloring. They seem to have a greater density to them as well. There are several bushes in the back, bordering the meadow, that are also that deep purple, along with the traditional. There are also two white lilac bushes in that row and by the woodshed a pink lilac... It's amazing... I truly am surrounded...
I love lilacs. Mom always called those French lilacs. The poem is perfection.
Hey you, Nice to see you here ... thanks so much for reading and commenting. Yes, I believe they are French lilacs. Everything's coming up lilacs!
