... like Moses in the bulrushes
... hidden from pharaohs and kings
... butterfly hides her eggs among thistles
Butterflies are a work of art. Wise words ♥
ReplyDeleteAren't they? Thank you, Cat.
DeleteWonderful analogy between the two.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kate! I'm so glad you commented.
DeleteOf pharaohs and kings and butterflies, I think the butterflies have the most value. Love the photo!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt. Wish it was my photo ... it is gorgeous.
DeleteWonderful images Teresa--the visual and the lyrical.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bill.
DeleteHappy to have found your poetry. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie, I'm also glad you found my poetry. I'm honored. So good to see you here...
DeleteLove this one, how beautiful! I like the idea of seeking a safe place to hide the precious eggs. The poor larvae though, hatching out in need of a good meal and encountering thistle prickles. Life could only get easier after that!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a beautiful world, isn't it, Jill?
DeleteJust beautiful as always...for some reason, brought tears to my eyes this morning...
ReplyDeleteMaybe the universe wanted me to post this just for you ... :)
