Palisade

... alone on the bridge at Palisade

                                     ... snow covering my hair

... a crow in the fading light

  1. Palisade is a word of poetic beauty even on its own. Crows were a bad omen said the Romans.

    1. Palisade is a small town I travel through en route to the north shore of Lake Superior. The old bridge is always a photo stop.

Crows deliver all sorts of news ... the Romans had a lot of bad news ... :)

  5. The crow gives this even more meaning. Always watching over everything. One of the most mystical of all creatures. Wonderful words here.

    1. Crows seem to carry messages, ideas that we can read or relate to ... I sometimes feel like that crow.
