"One more cup of summer" Simply wonderful.
Thank you, Bill. :)
An empty bowl just waiting to be filled with something wonderful. Loved the photo.
Thank you so much. Yes, something wonderful...
Oh, wonderful! I think that expression is likely to stay with me as our summer runs out (which I hope is still a long time away). One more cup of summer.
I am concerned a bit about an early fall/ winter... :)
Amen to that sentiment. Nicely crafted poem. Just as I read this I can hear and see a pair of house sparrows flitting back and forth with small insects to feed several hungry mouths in my birdhouse. They have a job to do and by gosh they are committed to the task. I swear Teresa every post or poem you write hits me squarely in the past or the present. I like that. I like the calmness that it provides.
I was just watching one sitting on my railing with a small worm in her mouth en route home ... It's so fun to watch the birds and other little beings in their daily lives. Yes, they are committed ... I am so grateful for your responses.
