Foxglove

                          ... winded
/ I lean into the fence line

... my footsteps lost in foxglove

  1. I don't know why but I wondered if you were barefoot--LOL! :)

    1. The route to the fence with the foxglove is a bit "if-y" so shoes are required. But I still walk around my yard barefoot ... I hope that never changes. :)

      Good to see you, Rita.

  2. I've leaned into fence lines deeply for many years, a gardener with machines and loppers, but now I'm old and must hire others to do it. It's still a favorite hike around the property --not barefoot but full of memories and new details too. Excellent poem.

    1. It's the "new details" that make every walk worthwhile. Thank you, Geo.
