The route to the fence with the foxglove is a bit "if-y" so shoes are required. But I still walk around my yard barefoot ... I hope that never changes. :)
I've leaned into fence lines deeply for many years, a gardener with machines and loppers, but now I'm old and must hire others to do it. It's still a favorite hike around the property --not barefoot but full of memories and new details too. Excellent poem.
I don't know why but I wondered if you were barefoot--LOL! :)

ReplyDeleteIt's the "new details" that make every walk worthwhile. Thank you, Geo.
