In Dreams

... you're gone ... but we watch for each other in dreams
... in the lobby of the hotel

... you turn to me and say ....... there you are

  1. Haunting lines, Teresa, paired perfectly with the mysterious image of this woman. Both the image and your lines demonstrate clearly that, in art, what is left unsaid and unrevealed is just as important as what is said and made explicit.

    1. Thank you so much, George. It's what I love about micropoetry ... arriving at the essence. :)

So good to hear from you.

  2. There is a hotel I visit in dreams and everybody I ever knew is there. Around some, I am a little boy. Around others, I am a guiding father. The Victorians smell of tweed and tobacco. Every floor is a ground floor.
