What the World Already Knows

... where river road meets the highway two swans appear in the soft grey light

... they follow my car to the bridge ... then return to the river

... sometimes our minds need to catch up to what the world already knows

  1. What a magnificent scene! I think the thought is very true: if we're not awake and there at the moment we miss the celebration.

  2. What a gorgeous image, and what wise words to accompany it. Returning to the river -- returning to home -- is a joy too many of us forego.

  3. Every mind that languishes in the norm, occasionally finds its moment to refresh itself and go beyond the norm before returning to the norm again. I always find the use of 'grey' to describe the moment be it morning or evening adds some mystical mystery. Nice picture. Superb!!
