The Weight of Winter

 

                                       ... after the storm ... pine boughs bend beneath the weight of winter

                       ... ruffed grouse rest in blue silence

  4. Lovely ..it brings to mind, perfectly, so many times seeing grouse perched after some weather. My blood pressure went down reading this poem.
