The Stream

... on the way to red willow pond
... in a stand of sunlit trees

... I kneel / drink from a cold clear stream

..... there are days that never leave us

  2. Heraclitus said, and quite correctly, we could never step into the same stream twice --but what about drinking from it, internalizing? What a remarkable question you present.

    1. Some things become a part of us ... we carry them within us for the rest of our lives, imo.

  3. Our memories stay, but time flows on. Lovely: both words and image.

  5. Beautiful words and image. And now I must rethink the snapshot I just took of some pussy willows. They deserve to be shot more thoughtfully!
