No Umbrella

                                                            ... fifteen years ago today

... she left me without an umbrella

... she knew the healing properties of rain

  2. Like montucky, I'm looking forward to warm rains. Cold rain? I'm not so much a fan, with or without an umbrella. What's funny is that, since I started working outdoors twenty-some years ago, I stopped with the umbrellas. Maybe I've learned that, if it's raining hard enough for an umbrella, it's raining hard enough to be indoors with a cup of coffee and a good book.

The greens are gorgeous. And hooray for me, for finally finding the place to subscribe to your wonderful musings/poetry.

    1. I'm one of those crazy people who like to work outside in the rain, hauling brush, etc. Probably wouldn't like it so much if I had no choice, however. :)

Thank you for subscribing. Good to see you here.

  3. Sometimes withholding an umbrella points one to better umbrageous shelter.

  4. Lovely photo - and words. Rain is sometimes like tears, only ten thousandfold.

  5. Why on Earth did this strike me so funny? I laughed out loud! The visual image in my head is hilarious.
