That's an expression I hadn't heard, Teresa, but I still collapse stacks of wood sometimes.
We were being careless kids, making forts in the wood ... it didn't go over well. I have long gotten over any sting those words might have caused.Keeping that wood stacked neatly is a real balancing act sometimes ... :)

My father used to use this expression all the time. The problem with it was I seldom, if ever, wore a hat. If I reminded him of this fact he'd get even more mad. So I usually refrained from being a wise guy.
I recall that temptation myself, and thought better of it ... :)))
