Now this I easily recognize. In my days in College I often stared out a window wishing I was some place on a cool stream or deep in the woods. The good part was that mostly I lived off campus in some rural area and commuted so a real return to nature was an option on most days.
I looked up calculus not sure if I understood its meaning and was happy to see that original calculus depended on "counting stones." A happy happenstance considering how I'd written the rest of the poem. Sometimes we know more than we think we do ... :)
That photo is a beauty. Perfect. A very nice poem too. Now I'm hungry for some panfried sunnies. I will count the days to Spring.
