... Sunday morning under grape vines with my son ... a man I raised ... together we turn them to wine together we stand among dripping leaves ... late September rain
It's so fun to be involved in something like this. Last year was not a good year for grapes, but other years, including this one have been ... I'm looking forward to trying the wine. We usually uncork the first bottle around the holidays.
I love standing under that grape arbor, keeping an eye on the ripening grapes ... I am a lucky mother. He's one of my greatest teachers. Thank you so much.
What a lovely thing to do, making wine together. I love the photo, too.
ReplyDeleteThat arbor produces a lot of grapes. My son does more of the actual making ... and it's always very good.
DeleteI have never done that. Perhaps I have missed something very good!
