Farmhouse on the River

                                            five miles down a dirt road / farmhouse on the river

                                            curtains blowing in the breeze above the kitchen table

  
                                            lilacs resting by the sink / bare feet warm as summer

                                            these need a drink she says to him / then I'll be right over


                                            forget those flowers honey child   

                                                                                               ... come lay across this table
