Feathers Fall from Rooftops

         
                                                        ... feathers fall from rooftops

                       ... where angels crouch behind neon signs
            
                                                                            ... watching the girl mistaking loneliness for love

  1. You have captured the sadness of women who delude themselves to avoid being alone. The angels are a brilliant poetic device here. Sad and brilliantly constructed...
