                                    ... this morning / a black bear pink peonies morning /

                                                                                                 ... later, in twilight / my soft white blanket

                         ... raspberry satin quilt folded over the end /
     
                                                                                           ... this life I'm dreaming

      A young bear, maybe a year old, wandered into my yard a few days ago. It felt as though he might be carrying symbolism if not a message. The peonies blooming at the same time helped to fill out the image.
