A tiger can represent so many things. A sleeping tiger is best at symbolizing potential --for defense, for acquisition-- but mostly the absence of need for sudden strength and action. To dream one at the stairway to higher functions of the mind would be a sign of safety, I think, and of confidence.
I much prefer your dreams to mine. Last night, I dreamed I owed a quarter-million dollars in medical bills. Maybe the tiger would be good for protecting me from bill collectors. (Thank goodness that was only a dream, and not reality!)
That does not sound like a pleasant dream at all. This dream, at first, seemed like it might have another meaning, but as it wanted to be a poem, it showed me something else .... and i like it. :)
I am completely captivated by that thought!
ReplyDeletethis poem did come from a dream and it sort of wrote itself ... :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful interpretation, I love seeing it in this light ... Thank you. :)
