In the Mist

... at the elbow of the river

... swans rise in the mist

                                                   ... time widens

  2. I like this. There is a place along the river upstream from here about 20 miles that is often frequented by swans, and on foggy days I have seen scenes that remind me of this. Beautiful!

  3. Beautiful image, Teresa, but, your words are so evocative that I can see the swans rising both with and without the visual.

    1. Thank you, Penny. It's one instance where I wonder if the image I chose doesn't distract. I may change it, have been considering it. :)

    2. I don't think the image distracts at all, Teresa; it's just that your words are so melodic and evocative. You are so very talented, my blogging friend.
