Change

... in the grocery store parking lot / listening to the rain

... Sam Cooke on the radio

... singing about a tent by a river / change ... that never seems to come

  1. Poignant. I wonder what Sam C. would think if he looked around now.

  2. Somehow this makes me think of times in Seattle, in the 60's. Good times and bad, all at once.

  3. I've been reading entries here and on the other blog, backtracking, getting acquainted with them and stayed up past my bed time --which is unusual because I'm all retired and don't have a bed time but I remember the days, the people you write about-- and I sure like how you write. Glad I found this site. My compliments and admiration.

    1. Thank you so much. I've been at this almost five years now ... how did that happen? It's been fun and I've found some really good people along the way. Glad you found my site. Your generous words are deeply appreciated.
