Among the Ruins

... only a small fire remains / warmth against a desert night

... I sleep among the ruins
                                                          ... one crow watching

The photograph, taken at Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, is mine.

  1. Sleep among the ruins, one crow watching. Such a Native Americanesque way of looking at the world. Right on from my point of view.

    1. My world view has taken on a distinctly more Native American tone in recent years ... I'm grateful for the lessons my ancestors continue to teach me ... This, too, is based on an experience several years ago, but oh so apropos now...
