I Saw You Today

... I saw you reading a newspaper in a cafe today

... well, I thought it was you

... but it was raining / and it was a long time ago

  3. I think many can relate to this. Many years ago I was at a department store. I spotted a familiar looking gal walking 50 feet in front
of me. Having being accustomed to seeing that "view" in the past I was about 98% sure it was one of my long term ex-lovers. I stopped and almost
panicked. There was no reason to walk any further. I left. This happened 25 years ago and yet it seems like yesterday.
    Great poem Teresa.

    1. Steven , your timing is, as always, impeccable ... odd, isn't it, how time can appear so fluid ... Thank you, Steven. I trust you're staying warm in the big city ... :)

  4. Perfect. And I do think lots of us have experienced this, or a version of it.

    2. The genre is "Electronica" fairly new to me and I very much like a lot of it. Trance like at times and so peaceful. I like to have this playing in the back round. I found Lemon Jelly on songza.com where there are plenty of variations of Electronica. And it's free.
