  1. We are fascinated with tracks of birds, squirrels, rabbits, and one chipmunk in our yard. You have so many more possibilities! And I love the idea of turkey angels in the snow. Stay warm!

    1. I love seeing where their feathers have fanned out ... always a treat to wake up to new snow and start all over with the many tracks ... Yes, stay warm!

  2. I envy your new snow! We are having a freezing rain here tonight.
And I'd love to send you a hundred wild turkeys. Those feathered terrorists are everywhere here this winter.

  3. Nicely written. Reminds me of when I was a kid tracking pheasants in newly fallen snow.

  4. Beautifully written. One of my favorite winter pass times is tracking. I teach a few classes to both my grad students and through a local land trust to help others see the wild world available in winter. Passing on skills is part of being skillful, I think. Just loved this Teresa!
