Half Moon

 ... what I've forgotten / what I remember

... half moon in a still blue sky

  1. Dear Teresa, Have read this poem several times and am ultimately reminded that wonders seen in the sky and remembered mean the sky exists in my mind as well. The separation we assume between mind and cosmos is not entire --or static. It is alive and various, like us.

    1. Thank you for this thoughtful comment. I've always loved seeing the half moon in a blue sky. I have come to see life as mirror and metaphor and this seemed to be another fine example.

It's good to hear from you.
