Last time I saw fireflies was along the Sabinal River in Texas. My cousin and I were visiting relatives there in 1968 and sat silently watching the tiny lights over the water. We may have fallen asleep, but the dream was everywhere.
I hadn't seen any in a few years. It was so cool to see them just before falling asleep. One landed on the edge of my window. It felt so peaceful.Love your last sentence. :)
