When I Was Young

... when I was young a vast plain of days lay before me

                      ... corrections could be made

now ... there's a path in the woods

... the sound of the river

    1. Oh, I hope so, Terry. From where I'm sitting it seems so ... thank you. :)

  2. One of my favorites of your micro-poems, Teresa. Yes, fewer chances to make corrections at this stage of life, but that's never a problem if one is near a wooded path within an earshot of a river.

  3. The path, the river. Same sound accompanies both, I think. Your skill with this form starts meditation from metaphor.
