... corners

             ... we creep into corners
            inch our way in
            there are no doors
            to lock
            but
            we lock them
            anyway

            no windows
            to bar
            but
            we bar them
            anyway

  2. A very fine poem Cletis. Your poems extract emotion. Sometimes sad and sometimes glad. I like that you are fearless. Well done Cletis.

    1. Steven, I've passed your comment on to Cletis and he said to be sure and thank you for it. He appreciates it very much. It also was a good message for me, to be more fearless in my own writing. Thank you.
