                                    ... the shape of my neighbor's voice

Thirty Odd Years

                                                                   thirty odd years

                                                                   we sat on your porch

                                                                   the radio asking

                                                                   who'll stop the rain

                                                                   now, six months after your passing

                                                                   I stand outside

                                                                   still on the porch an ice chest
